Material of the Moment: Felt

Felt has been one of our favorite materials here at the studio for quite some time, but this season
we’re seeing it everywhere and in new and inventive ways.  Check out our top picks below for
this warm + cozy Material of the Moment

RestoreRoundMuuto

The original Restore Basket is one of our favorite accessories in the office right now; and luckily
this season Muuto has released two new versions of this felt bin with both the Restore Round
Basket as well as the Restore Tray.  Store all your collectibles here for it comes in every color
imaginable (although we love the coveted gray)

FeltGoodChairSMFD

Our handsome Felt Good Chair premiered at the Modern Atlanta show earlier this year, but we
think the rich walnut and cozy felt will keep you warm all winter long.

KnollBenchFilzfelt

At the Knoll headquarters in San Fransisco Filzfelt, Knoll’s Wool Design Felt sub-brand, created
a customized version of the Aro Plank Series of the Architecture Research Office Collection.
The vibrant pink is the perfect compliment to all the concrete.

SoftwallBBItalia

Softwall by B&B Italia is part partition and part storage unit.  It is soft and statuesque, designed
to display and hold the items we need only occasionally.

BuzziHoodBuzziSpace

BuzziSpace is always coming up with great felt products for the office and the BuzziHood is no
different!  The BuzziHood is an acoustic cocoon you can hang on the wall; when you’re ‘in the
Hood’ you can answer the phone in peace in noisy surroundings without ever having to ask
someone to repeat themselves.

EmilyGarsnas

The Emily chair by Garsnas wraps its quilted arms around you like favorite old woolen blanket,
only this time it’s got fresh new look.

RuffPoufGanRugs

Inspired by nature and the beautiful petals of a flower the Low Ruff Pouf, designed by Romero &
Vellejo for GAN Rugs, gives off some serious positive + playful vibes.

HoodFormUs

The modular, compressed-felt Hood pendant by Form Us With Love for Atelje Lyktan allows the
end-user to design multiple shade shapes by adding + subtracting panels to create various looks.
